The Seminar will start at 10:00 AM with an introduction to sketching and basic techniques in composition drawing.
A review of the color wheel and color mixing will be followed by an overview of brush selection and brush stroke application.

Painting outdoors offers many pleasures and interesting experiences, but it can be tricky due to the exposure to the elements. Speed and a proper "set up" will eliminate the obstacles.

The selection at The Village Green is great in the Spring because the Rose garden is already in full bloom and the landscape around is truly beautiful.

We are hoping for beautiful Spring temperatures and the Blue Bonnets, Indian Paint Brushes, Pink wildflowers and Yellow Breaths will still be in bloom.
We may stay around the Green or may take a short walk to the surrounding landscape. (Individually optional).

This is a great way to learn to paint, review your previous experiences and begin painting again!
